- Hello, Welcome to Julie Heard’s Blogfolio. Moving back home to Juneau Alaska and seeking my masters of teaching is my latest great adventure. I have no regrets moving back to Juneau because it is the most exquisite place on earth. This winter, I have taken up a new hobby of cross country skiing. My favorite passed time has been skiing by moonlight at Eaglecreast. It’s amazing how much light the moon gives when it’s reflecting off the snow.
